Sound Aid Hearing Aid Warranties is a consumer direct warranty company started by Discovery Hearing Aid Warranties. Discovery has been in business for over two decades, under the guidance of Richard J. Kaiser who is both a dispenser and user of hearing aids. It was his idea that most people would enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that, if anything happened to their expensive little hearing aid, their financial situation would not be disturbed. It was his total dedication to this concept, and the fact that there was no comprehensive warranty protection available, that led him to start Discovery Hearing Aid Warranties. Discovery Hearing Aid Warranties to this day are only available through a network of participating hearing aid dispensers. It occurred to Mr. Kaiser that not every hearing aid user was actively involved with a dispenser. And as everybody knows "no matter how valuable a service is, it is worthless until it gets into the hands of the people who need it". So, in 1998, SoundAid Hearing Aid Warranties was born!

Early on, Mr. Kaiser realized that he could provide a more valuable service to his clients if he could make the repair process as rapid as possible. To do this he needed an on site repair facility. He was impressed with the quality of work coming from an existing repair company, and convinced them to merge with him. That repair company is now Discovery Hearing Aid Repair. It is a full scale repair company located on the premises with over 30 years experience in hearing aid repair, and capable of repairing most hearing aids on site. Some hearing aids still have to go to the factory for repair, but if you have a service warranty there is no added cost to you.
